Optional Art Activity is an exhibition without works that has been held annually at Take Ninagawa since 2011. Kyongfa Che and Fumio Inoue (CAMP) are collaborating as the organizers of this third iteration. Participants will investigate the uncertain legacy of a Japanese painter who is said to have influenced Cambodia’s art history.

私たちの身体と道具、そして作り出される物、それを使うことの意味についての探求。
『活動的生』の翻訳者、森一郎さんの解釈文に助けを借り前回に引き続き、ハンナ・アーレントのテキストを読み解きます。
さらに、ジャンリュック・ナンシーの『フクシマの後で 破局・技術・民主主義』からいくつかのキーワードを見つけ出し、私たちの思考に変化を促すものとして、再度朗読したいと思います。
「わからない」
その時に生まれる違和感や居心地の悪さは、ある物事にすでに私たちが関わっているという気づきである。
pop-up cafeは、「わからない」を私たちを誘発し、触発する要素として意識化し、エネルギーを作り出していける装置として受け止め、考えていきたいと思います。

This Pratt Presents event, co-presented by the School of Architecture, will feature a conversation which will move us towards a deeper understanding of the ways in which food now functions in our environment as it intersects with art, culture, and science. Participants include Sanford Kwinter, architectural theorist and Pratt faculty member (moderator); Asako Iwama, artist, cook, and former leader of the kitchen team at Studio Olafur Eliasson; Mark Ladner, executive chef at Del Posto; and Charlotte Birnbaum, writer and culinary historian.
