i found these in 美唄 (Bibai)
the place is originally named by Aynu (indigenous people of Hokkaido)
Bibai: where Karasu Gai (freshwater mussel) lives
known as former Mitsubishi and Mitsui coal mine during second war.
about 5000 people from Korea and about 1400 people from China were in forced labor in Bibai.
many of them could not survive.
